This was my bay tree. I've had it for nearly 30 years and it's generally been a healthy green ball.

A few winters ago it blew over and broke its pot. It really didn't like the new one and hasn't grown well since.

Last week I decided to prune it back and see what happens.

And now I'm terrified that it'll not grow back again.


Still, if it doesn't I've got its babies; the experts say bay won't grow from cuttings. Hah.

And the new apple tree grafted from the old tree at my childhood home.

And the ridiculous tiny fence I made to fill in the 20" gap at the end of the fence - after about 12 years!

Sometimes I like gardening.
