Last thoughts on elections

and based on visible poll results. I don't know if the votes were validated as they were made or if ineligible votes ave still to be removed. Any removal of invalid votes would change the base data and so any conclusions I come to.
For simplicity I'm only listing candidates with more than 1000 first preference votes.
There were 25875 first preference votes cast. The 50% point is 12937.5.

legomymalfoy could pass that point and then only if most 2nd and 3rd preference votes cast for them were added.
If they do not gain enough transferred votes the result will depend on first preference votes and, again, legomymalfoy will be elected.
rm had more overall votes than jameth . Depending on who made which preferences the final runoff could be between legomymalfoyand rm. I supect that many of rm's 2nd and 3rd preferences came from legomymalfoy 's voters and so won't be active though.
