doireNew job has eaten my my mind. I'm so happy spending all day tweaking speadsheets that I leave late. I must watch that; there's so much more opportunity to work too long if you're only supposed to be there half the time.
US parcel has arrived at the local parcelforce depot and I will be off to collect it.
It was charged by customs. Boo!
But they don't seem to be able to do arithmetic. Yay! (This may not be true; I could have been told the wrong amount or misunderstood how it should have been calculated, but it's still less than I expected)
Have reacquainted myself with Yuletide canon in the name of research and have a pile of notes to arrange into a narrative.
Comet Holmes is still just visible. I think It's the best I've ever seen. I will try to persuade better-camera-owner to put up their pics.
It took longer to sign off at the Job Centre than it did to write the application and attend the interview. And I have to go again to finish off some paperwork. No wonder people get stuck on benefits.
I have seen nearly all of Bleach that I can get hold of :(
