Doctor Who - part two
Jul. 1st, 2007 09:53 amI'm not touching that post again, edit one error and get two in return, so my spoiler speculation is here.
Now I'll go and read everyone else's thoughts.
It seems to me that the Master is completely conditioned to believe that the Doctor will find a way to win. So much so that he has last ditch plans built into every situation.
This time? Disaffected, bullied companion who will kill him if she gets the chance. Pre-hypnotic suggestion? And then the same plan as with the dalek execution; life stored in something for later rather than regeneration.
Was it Lucy who picked up that ring? The red nails would say so, but it was deliberately obscure.
Was the jump to a quarry a nod to "Survival" and the Master's unexpected return from certain doom?
