doireI didn’t get the job I’ve just been interviewed for. And my reaction seems to suggest that I really wanted it.
The feedback was that another candidate had more recent, relevant experience. Of course, the longer I’m unemployed the less recent all my experience becomes no matter how exactly relevant.
It’s not been a good week. I had a rejection in less than 48 hours from a strange apply-on-line-only attempt – “please cut and past your CV into this box” Pasted CV into box and watched all the formatting collapse into gibberish. There is one I’ve not heard from , but they are of the “assume you’ve not been shortlisted if you hear nothing” persuasion.
Bah! Humbug! Working is overrated anyway.
