I like words and I’m a lousy speller so this site, mentioned in New Scientist, where folk etymology meets rationalised spelling, amuses me no end. I think my favourite is Pus-jewels.

And for our even younger moments

It’s the time of year when gift catalogues drop heavily through the letterbox including this recent one devoted to achieving healthy life style. Some of the offered products made claims for benefits of use that I’d never realised before.
