doireI feel so shy writing this. Someone is writing for me and it feels churlish to be specific. But when I'm writing I'm just glad for clues so here goes.
There isn't much in my journal for clues, but generally I like nit-picking detail, politics and world building so it's not surprising that my requests are for back story - Just how was that personality formed? Why did they react in that way in canon? How did they spend the day-to-day days when not having adventures?
Most of my fic reading is slash, but I don't think that fits so well with my requests. I think it's mainly to avoid the romantic tropes of het fantasy, so strong women are welcome too.
Muta got a mural and a reputation; I'd like to know how or perhaps some of his other adventures. The interaction between the two worlds is intriguing too.
Dola takes no nonsense, but found time to raise a large brood. I don't suppose she was shy and retiring in her youth, but perhaps she was. Maybe it took raising a family to become so confident.
How did the loathely damosel find herself in that situation? Was she an innocent victim or did she invite trouble? And how did that affect her later life. There are so many strands to the Arthurian legends that variations are to be expected. When I was young I wanted to know which version was "true" and now I think they all are.
Vetch had such an influence on Ged that I'd like to know more, either at the school or in his later life. I said I read slash but I pretty convinced that they were, not so much sexless as oblivious.
