More Eurovision

doireQuite happy that Russia won. I liked it, not as much as Latvia and (showing my age) Finland.
There were mutterings about plagiarism and the Romanian entry and I thought that parts of the Russian entry were familiar, particularly the descending phrase, but I couldn't work out why.
Then when the winners reprised their entry it was pointed out how like an anime introduction it was, even down to the gestures. And that's where I've heard it; somewhere in my J-pop collection. Can I face listening to it all? Anyone else think it's familiar?
