I've got the job applications off and only have 25 (eek!)say-something bookmarks. I should get my OU essay done first so I'm procrastinating again.
Now what do I do with it?
On Sunday it was sunny so we decided to go to the sea side.
Half way there it began to look like less of a good idea.

But we pushed on and the weather improved.
The scree isn't natural. The sea sorts the spoil by size, but there was a man on the beach sorting it by colour too!

Impressive stripy cliffs though.
I used to think these blocks were man made when I was small. Then I learnt it was natural jointing.

Now I've seen colour coded spoil heaps, I'm not so sure.
And I achieved a long held ambition. I look for sea worn agates and other semi-precious stones. I didn't find any, but J did and gave it to me. It's about 3mm long.

Then I found the bigger pebble. And I could tell when I picked it up that it was different. It was light and warm; I've found a piece of amber at last.
