Eek! What a lot of posts.

I had a good Christmas; lots of time with my family.

Daughter arrived unannounced early one Saturday morning and managed to lock herself out so that I couldn't get the door open. Son arrived with his girlfriend. Two Christmases in a row strikes me as commitment. My father had trouble coping with her being a vegetarian, despite my being married to one for 34 years, and my mother thought she was with my daughter. I didn't call my brother anything derogatory but it was a near thing.

I haven't looked at LJ for ages and now I have more tabs open with things I want to comment on than is healthy. Some are overtaken by events, and others are no longer timely, but my resolution was to reply even if I felt shy.
