doireDecided to go and see the daughter for a few days. Abandoning the significant other since he has to practice for G&S next weekend and he will insist on repeating the phrases he can’t play.
I seem to have packed 15% clothes, 10% toothbrushes and similar bits and bobs, 10% mail from people still writing to her here, 5% gifts, 15% reading for pleasure books and 45% text books. Oh, the good intentions…
I will not take my laptop, I will not take my laptop, it’s only a 3 hour train journey, I can survive without it. Yeah, and how long will I be there before I’m borrowing hers? Sheffield has free public access points; I wonder if they’re net-nannied?
