Family ties

It's most unsettling to read a fic on my friends list, go to comment, and to find my daughter has already done so.

Is the net age-democratic or what? Try the one about 'Everyone on my FL with one exception *could* be my daughter- and one could be my granddaughter'.

Boomers. 'There are always more of us than there are of you.' Just on the net you sometimes forget that fact.

hmmm, my son has developed yaoi-sense. i can sit on the computer for HOURS without a problem, but the SECOND i pull up a fic to write, he's right behind me, looking over my shoulder, trying to read it. now, sure, when he's older, no big whoop. but 11? he still freaks out if i say 'ass', and he threatened to stop reading naruto over konohamaru's little yaoi prank... (hangs head in shame, i tried to raise a sensitive boy, really)

but, yeah, considering some of the things i've read recently, i would be squicked beyond belief if i found my kiddo had read them, too. (of course, that would lead to DISCUSSING them, which would be kind of fun, because i live to embarrass my son - and then HE would be posting 'dude, my mom read the same stuff i did and now she wants to TALK about it' *evil laugh*)
