Swings and roundabouts
My connection is dropping in and out and the my email associated with LJ has been dead for several days. UK2 say it's been 24 hours, but I'd reckon it's more like 3 days. So I amused myself on Usenet.
The RADW resident village idiot ranted about my local council in a thread where he earlier claimed that a cat had propositioned him for sex. Not his cat, a neighbour's, his cats are decently raised. Scroll up thread if you dare; it's over 300 341posts long.
The problem seems to be that, this year, the mayor and mayoress of Cambridge will both be MTF transexuals. Jennifer was my local ward councillor until she stood down. I voted for her and admire her work. And the new mayor is one of the few politicians who actually understands sustainable energy systems. Agamemnon really annoyed me. More than he usually does.
But. wonder of wonders, our local paper has a positive report. Not what I'd expect from the CEN. Even the Daily Mail is supportive.
