BBC plans
An E-gov petition has been started to persuade the BBC to reconsider its decision to rely on Windows media player 10 for on line broadcasting
"We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to prevent the BBC from making its iPlayer on-demand television service available to Windows users only, and instruct the corporation to provide its service for other operating systems also"

It's probably as well to not get me started on either the crippling of Vista to provide DRM or the attitude of our current socialist government. If they want to replace representative democracy by plebiscite, let the people let them know what the people think.
PS I like my representative even if he, or more likely his assistant, can't spell assistants.
The Abuse of Power Posted by David Howarth, MP for Cambridge. :ID cards, the Abolition of Parliament Bill, right to peaceful protest... Has the Government gone too far? Has our relationship with the state changed?
On Friday 9th March I will be holding an event to discuss these matters at the function room at CB2 Café, Norfolk Street.
The event starts at 8pm and all are welcome to attend. If you have any questions about the event please do not hesitate to contact my assistance Alice Douglas on 01223 304 421 or alice.douglas@gmail.com Best wishes David Howarth MP
